Awareness is like internal awakeness
You hear that? If you live in a city, you'll know what I mean, but likely do not hear it. It's noise. So redundant in life, it becomes mundane. We've made a resolute decision, long ago, to tune it out and delivered that message to the subconscious to carry out the command. Just like other things in life we take for granted in ignoring them by pre-programmed, subconscious blindness, initiated on our own volition.
Here is the tie in...eventually. Noise pollution in the public space is all man created. Beneath it lies the soft and quiet melody of nature. On the surface: static;noise. It's like the boisterous selfishness of man, who created them, can be heard in the disorderly cries.
"I will be heard, regardless; without consideration."
Yet, nature seeks no attention apart from that which is given it. Nature is self-sustained, resting on its design; living by the rules of its Creator, and not its own.
Now, allow me to direct your attention inward. You may be able to hear the same noise/harmony ratio. Once again, two natures, opposed; adversaries. One pure, peaceable, yielding, soft spoken and the other, a mix of all kinds, contentious, imposing, forceful and loud.
Is it odd, this comparison? The similarities without and within? Not so much, I think. If we give attention; seek for a thing in curiosity; that thing seems to find us. At least this is what I have come to understand as a law of life. This "effect" seems to be a reflection of what is truly happening inside. As though, we are the cause and the world around us is the effect.
Have you ever gained interest in a particular model car and "coincidentally" began to "see" them more frequently than before? This "seeing" just could be a copy of the seeing inside, which is awareness. When you become aware, you "see" it out there. [That may be a cool bumper sticker, no?] It is as if we are projectors, projecting our internal perception of reality, that the mind "sees", out in front of us; around us. Perhaps, it is to help us in having a visual model to refer to as we come to understanding.
This is a theme; a pattern, I've been coming to know for some time, but just now, [Then; at the beginning of writing this; I mean before] I made the connection of the two voices of the natures. I'd like to continue on this another time, though I cannot say for sure if I will. We shall see.
