I'll start by saying I believe in the existence of One living God who is interested in experiencing with us, relationship. I experience this truth daily. With my faith, I can see Him (not physically) and exchanging words, I can know Him. He is close to me as I am to myself. He knows me completely and He speaks highly of me. He sees in me what I can't. He calls me by a different name (figuratively) and I answer to it. A name with meaning that can't be put to words. It points to a man of sound character. His core, built on integrity. He holds a vision of Me I would not dream. He speaks to me in words that make me believe I can be and do anything! Not of my own power, but the power shared through transference by way of relationship. The more I get to know Him, the longer I remain in His presence, the more I grow to be like Him.
I am filled by His Holy Spirit which animates me; gives me Life. It is He who speaks through me, at times, as I submit to His will and obey. This is how He gets His work done, as a Spirit, in the physical realm. He uses willing humans. Those willing to sacrifice their own will for one much greater. It is not a choice they make on their own. They are called to it. Much has been revealed to me regarding His kingdom and His plans to shift into new Life. He and I are friends. He rules over me with authority, but He humbles Himself for the sake of relationship and union. I don't claim to fully understand the things I speak of. My understanding is limited, but His Understanding is complete and I take possession of the portion He chooses to share with me and call them mine.
The bible is the supreme authority over earthly living. It is a perfectly complete record of everything pertaining to life on earth. In this world, the bible is the only source of unadulterated truth. It is, has been and always will be pure. It reads differently than any other book in the world, as it is a living book. But you would not know that reading it in the way you're accustomed to reading. That way will only give you the surface knowledge. It goes deeper. The bible requires a special set of glasses, if you will. It is a prerequisite to seeing the bible in true form, that you first receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit, by means of asking in Jesus name and receiving by faith. Those instructions are found on the surface of the pages and can be understood with guidance from a fellow believer. The pages reveal something different each time they are read, with the aid of the Spirit. There are answers to life's issues spread all throughout. In the content, we are taught fundamental truths and given instruction on how to apply these principles to life. I've learned that in every principle there is a promise and a condition. The condition is your part; what you must do. The promise, is the big man upstairs' part. And this is the structure of a condition and promise statement: "IF, THEN". IF you follow and do what the word says, THEN I, the Almighty God will fulfill this promise and make it so in your life, for there is nothing outside of the reach of My power and ability.
